TOKYO – MARATHON

The Tokyo Marathon, organized since 2007 by the city of Tokyo, is an annual event taking place in the streets of the city.
In 2010, it was attended by over 32,000 people.
In 2011, more than 30,000 runners had come to support charitable activities.
This race is accompanied by various events, including an exhibition at the International Exhibition of Tokyo (Tokyo Big Sight).
The route of this race connects the Mayor of Tokyo, Tokyo Big Sight, passing by the most famous of the Japanese capital sites, including: the City of Tokyo in Shinjuku, Tokyo Imperial Palace, Hibiya Park, the upscale Ginza, Tsukiji, famous for its fish market area …
